Good morning all

As some of you know, I'm recently been attending a mindfulness retreat, even it's not the 1st time specially when I'm meditating I have noticed about the nasal cycle of our breath; sometime we breath through the right nostril (pingala nadi or right caregiver current) , sometime through the left nostril (ida nadi or left caregiver current) and sometimes through both the nostrils ( sushumna or Main Central Current ?)

And now I find out it is connected with the moon cycle (check link below)

I just mention it because I find very interesting how this cycle can be connect to JSJ and will be interesting to explore this idea further and how it can be apply to JSJ.

Have any of you have came across this nasal cycle before?

Guten Morgen allerseits!

Wie einige von euch wissen, war ich kürzlich auf einem Achtsamkeits-Retreat. Es ist zwar nicht das erste Mal, aber besonders beim Meditieren ist mir der Nasenzyklus unserer Atmung aufgefallen: Mal atmen wir durch das rechte Nasenloch (Pingala Nadi oder rechter Bezugsstrom), mal durch das linke Nasenloch (Ida Nadi oder linker Bezugsstrom) und mal durch beide Nasenlöcher (Sushumna oder Hauptstrom?).

Und jetzt habe ich herausgefunden, dass er mit dem Mondzyklus zusammenhängt.

Ich erwähne es nur, weil ich es sehr interessant finde, wie dieser Zyklus mit JSJ zusammenhängt. Es wird interessant sein, diese Idee weiter zu erforschen und ihre Anwendung auf JSJ zu untersuchen.

Ist jemand von euch schon einmal auf diesen Nasenzyklus gestoßen?

Hi All

The thing is that the nasal cycle fascinate me and it has to be investigated further and its connection to JSJ.

The nasal cycle can be integrated in a practical way in our daily streaming, for self-help ( MCV, Caregivers, Mediators, organs flows, fingers , SBFE), for treatment, for the body reading, etc.

To enhance what side of the body to work on, observe what nostril is the dominant at that moment in time and work on the side of the body that the nasal cycle is the dominant.

Mich fasziniert der Nasenzyklus, und ich möchte ihn und seinen Zusammenhang mit JSJ genauer erforschen.

Der Nasenzyklus lässt sich praktisch in unseren Alltag integrieren, zur Selbsthilfe (MCV, Pflege, Mediation, Organflüsse, Fingerübungen, SBFE), zur Behandlung, zum Körperlesen usw.

Um herauszufinden, welche Körperseite du bearbeiten solltest, beobachte, welches Nasenloch gerade dominant ist, und konzentriere dich auf die Seite, auf der der Nasenzyklus dominant ist.

Hi Estrie,

Woher weiß ich ganz sicher wann welches Nasenloch dominant ist?

Bei mir ist da einiges in den Nasengängen nicht so wie’s sein soll und deshalb ist das für mich schwierig.

Und so ganz verstehe ich deine Denkweise im Zusammenhang mit JSJ noch nicht.

Nice to hear from you.

It's like meditation concentrate in the nostril and after a while you realise that you breathe in more air in one side of the nostril than the other. Sometimes is easier to perceive it because it's more congested and sometimes we breathe equally from both nostrils in the transition from one side to the other. Otherwise if you are not sure , put a mirror under the nostrils and the bigger the patch of condensation on the mirror, it's the side of the nostril you're inhaling more air.

When the left nostril is dominant is related to the left supervisors and the right side of the brain, when the right nostril is dominant is related to the right supervisors and the left side of the brain and in the transition from one side to the other is related to the mediator, and when equally in both nostrils is related to the the Main Central.

Of course I haven't got all the answers yet, the how the nasal cycle can be use fully in JSJ.

I'm sorry that the difficult disciple (JSJ), lack of knowledge, language articulation and syntax, translation, etc. all play a part of the misunderstanding. And I'm not claiming I've got all the answers, but I like openly explore different possibilities , and be allow to make mistakes.

Another thing when you don't understand me please just ask me, I'll try to answer the best I can.

Schön, von dir zu hören.

Es ist wie bei der Meditation: Konzentriere dich auf ein Nasenloch, und nach einer Weile merkst du, dass du durch ein Nasenloch mehr Luft einatmest als durch das andere. Manchmal ist es leichter wahrzunehmen, weil das Nasenloch verstopft ist, und manchmal atmen wir beim Übergang von einer Seite zur anderen gleichmäßig durch beide Nasenlöcher. Wenn du dir nicht sicher bist, halte einen Spiegel unter deine Nasenlöcher. Je größer der Kondenswasserfleck auf dem Spiegel ist, desto mehr Luft atmest du durch das Nasenloch ein.

Wenn das linke Nasenloch dominant ist, hängt das mit den linken Vorgesetzten und der rechten Gehirnhälfte zusammen. Wenn das rechte Nasenloch dominant ist, hängt es mit den rechten Vorgesetzten und der linken Gehirnhälfte zusammen. Der Übergang von einer Seite zur anderen hängt mit dem Mediator zusammen. Wenn beide Nasenlöcher gleich stark atmen, hängt es mit dem Zentralnervensystem zusammen.

Natürlich habe ich noch nicht alle Antworten, insbesondere nicht darauf, wie der Nasalzyklus in JSJ optimal genutzt werden kann.

Es tut mir leid, dass die Schwierigkeit dieser Disziplin (JSJ), mangelndes Wissen, Probleme mit der Artikulation und Syntax, Übersetzungen usw. zu Missverständnissen beitragen. Ich behaupte nicht, alle Antworten zu kennen, sondern bin offen für verschiedene Möglichkeiten und erlaube mir, Fehler zu machen.

Wenn du mich nicht verstehst, frag mich einfach. Ich werde mein Bestes tun, um dir zu helfen.

...of course you have to distinguish between the nasal cycle (in healthy conditions) when is normal one side of the nostril is closer,
from a nasal project due to a cold (in unhealthy conditions) or other reasons (i.e. polyps in the nasal cavity) in any or both sides of the nostrils.

You can always start holding the side of the body that correspond with same side of the nostril that is blocked/partially blocked because of a project.

Autism and the early language impairment may be associated with left handedness, left-eyedness and nasal dominance... These result show that patients with autism had no normal nasal cycle. They probably had almost continuous left nasal breathing...The state of imbalance present itself as the predominant airflow through the left nostril...

Advice practice for autistic children;

padadhirasana - the breath balancing pose. The right hand presses on the left armpit ( in JSJ the left 26)

Matsya kridasana - The flapping fish pose. Lying down on the lateral left side of the body with the knee bent and touching the inside of #1.)

Both poses stimulate pingala nadi (the Right Supervisor) to activate the extrovert human nature.

We can deduct from the breath balancing pose, with the "Big Hug" (#26s) we balance both sides.

Natürlich muss man zwischen dem normalen Nasenzyklus (bei guter Gesundheit), bei dem ein Nasenloch normalerweise freier ist, und einer Nasenverstopfung durch Erkältung (bei gesundheitlichen Problemen) oder andere Ursachen (z. B. Nasenpolypen) unterscheiden, die ein oder beide Nasenlöcher betreffen kann.

Sie können immer mit der Körperseite beginnen, die dem verstopften oder teilweise verstopften Nasenloch entspricht.

utismus und frühkindliche Sprachstörungen können mit Linkshändigkeit, Linkssehschwäche und Nasendominanz einhergehen. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass Patienten mit Autismus keinen normalen Nasenzyklus aufweisen. Wahrscheinlich atmen sie fast durchgehend durch das linke Nasenloch. Dieser Ungleichgewichtszustand äußert sich im vorherrschenden Luftstrom durch das linke Nasenloch.

Übungsempfehlungen für autistische Kinder:

Padadhirasana – die Atembalance-Übung. Die rechte Hand drückt auf die linke Achselhöhle (in JSJ die linke 26).

Matsya Kridasana – die Fischhaltung. Legen Sie sich auf Ihre linke Seite, beugen Sie Ihr Knie und legen Sie es an die Innenseite von Punkt 1.

Beide Posen stimulieren die Pingala Nadi (den rechten Lenker) und aktivieren so die extrovertierte Natur des Menschen.

Aus der Atembalance-Übung lässt sich ableiten, dass wir mit der „Großen Umarmung“ (Punkt 26) beide Seiten ausgleichen.
